Matt Godfrey delivers a stellar performance and Talbot puts together a tight, interesting, and fun horror story! I was voluntarily provided this free review copy .   Matt was the second of twelve children born to Charles and Elizabeth Talbot. The family lived on the verge of poverty, for although Charles Talbot worked regularly, he spent most of his wages at the local pub. Eventually Matt and seven of his brothers followed in Charles’ footsteps, drinking their way through life.

The audiobook's narrator, Matt Godfrey, really came through in this one. Godfrey also narrated one of Talbot's other works I've read, The Bog, in which I was a degree less impressed with his narration. However, his talent really glowed in his narration of The Delicate Dependency. Matt Talbot Story Matt Talbot was born May in Dublin Ireland. He was one of twelve children, six of whom lived to adulthood. His father was a heavy drinker and, as a result, the family grew up in poverty. Typical of his era, Matt spent just two years at school. There was no compulsory education and he was unable to read or write.

Matt Talbot Group #1 "where it all began" Matt Talbot Group #1; History; Matt Talbot Story; Schedule; Copyright ©   I’m so encouraged by Matt Talbot’s story. The big difference I think in my brother’s life is that my brother has succombed to impurity and Matt Talbot even in his alcoholism never did. I’d like to get him a book or dvd on Matt Talbot’s life. But, I think he’d be really angry at me since he denies he has a problem.
